It all started in July. My business partner and Co-Founder sent me an email with the subject “Let’s find a way to manage our RDC connections in the cloud”.
During the months to follow, Deskulous was born.
We started in search of an application to manage remote desktops and servers from one simple user friendly interface. You see, before starting Deskulous we started a successful MSP and cloud hosting provider serving over 300 clients with over 500 physical and virtual servers to manage remotely. Some servers were in our data center, some with Rackspace, Amazon, and other cloud providers. Being a cloud company, we wanted an RDC management tool that was web based and accessible from anywhere that could manage our Windows servers across any vendor. What we quickly found was that it didn’t exist, so we set out to change the way IT professionals manage RDC connections and we’re almost there!
Our employees and a select few beta testers have been busy using and enjoying Deskulous for some time, helping us work out the kinks and get ready for you. After a long journey and many sleepless nights we can see land just ahead!
Those of you that have requested beta access, thank you for your patience, beta access invites will begin going out before Christmas, Ho Ho Ho!
We’re thrilled to be welcoming our first round of customers and public beta testers. We want to understand what works for them and what can be improved. We also want to learn how our customers will use Deskulous to simplify their lives and companies. Using this feedback, we’ll rework and revise; the experience we’re launching today will continuously evolve. There is still a tremendous amount to be done, but we can’t wait to take the journey with you and welcome your feedback.
